The Heat is on for Young Horticulturists!
Thursday 26th February students at Capel Manor College took part in a local heat of the Young Horticulturist of the Year competition 2010. Heats for the national competition organised by the Institute of Horticulture took place across the country during January and February, in each of the Institute’s eight branch areas. Winners will go forward to Regional Finals taking place this month.

New garden update – 20 January 2010
Work continues on the building of the Manor Garden at Capel Manor College. The recent snow and cold weather has hampered the construction work of the church and cloister garden, but the foundations for phase 2 of the project have been dug-out and a delivery of ready mixed concrete from Cemex is poured.
